MICROMOT collet chucks are made of hardened steel, which guarantees high and permanent flexibility. They do not lose their shape and precision even after long-term use (incomparable to unhardened, four-jaw and similar collets made of copper or aluminum). Three jaws (manufacturing is significantly more complex than manufacturing collets with 4 notches) allow for better tool clamping. This is important for centric clamping of smaller diameter shanks.
The heart of MICROMOT hand tools is a DC special motor. Thanks to permanent magnet technology, it is very powerful, quiet and durable compared to its size. Due to the high efficiency of this motor, it requires less power from the socket than other commonly used motors for the same power. When using these motors in production, we primarily deal with the issue of producing an elegant small device with high power.
